All the AG and CHELAG range products are manufactured from natural rock based minerals and are complexed to natural carbohydrate based chelating agents and contains natural absorption aids like Fulvic Acids to enhance the uptake into plants. These compounds are very easily assimilated and poses no residual fate to the environment.

 

We are one of the first companies in our manufacturing sector in South Africa that stopped the use of water pollutants like Nonyl Phenol Ethoxylates (NPE’s) and all our wetting agents, water quality agents and other water quality improvement products are completely NPE free.  All NPE's were replaced with Alcohol Ethoxylates (AE's) which do not have the same environmental fate as the Phenolic compounds present in NPE containing adjuvants.

 

NutriCo SA is also a leading entity in the development of non-Phosphate based pH-correctors.  All the NutriCo Buffers and Acidifiers are of organic acid origin and is thus compatible and completely environmentally friendly.  These pH correctors are made from weak acids and not strong acids like Phosphoric, Sulphuric or Nitric acids, that corrode metals and fittings. These organic acids are easily neutralised in the environment and is fully biodegradable.

 

Lastly NutriCo also distances itself from the use of petroleum hydrocarbons as penetration agents, that has a detrimental effect on natural micro-organisms.  All NutriCo penetration aids like Cyflo, Penetrol, and Tocovitale are natural fatty acid based and these natural fatty acids are fully biodegradable and form an excellent nutrient source for the crop ecosystem. It is however also notable that these natural and environmentally friendly compounds are much easier assimilated by plants and thus prove to be much better agents than its inorganic counter parts.

 

All NutriCo products are subjected to strict quality control including:

- Volumetric assessment: Entailing batch analysis of final packed product to determine correct product volumes are packed in containers

- Residue assessment: All production batches are pooled and periodically analysed for heavy metal residues, including Lead (Pb), Cadmium (Cd), Mercury (Hg), Arsenic (As) and other metal ions deemed a risk for human health.  Furthermore periodic analysis is done on all liquid products to ensure no aromatic hydrocarbons, volatile organic carbons or chlorinated bi-Phenyls are present in the NutriCo SA products.

- Quality assessment: All production batches are analysed in the NutriCo internal laboratory to a strict Quality Control (QC) system, whereby all batches are submitted to Specific Gravity (SG), pH and Electrical Conductivity assays.  All pH correctors are analysed for there pH correction abilities and each batch is plotted against a standard batch to confirm consistent pH correction capabilities between specific pH ranges.  All wetting agents are analysed for spreadibility against standards to ensure consistent wetting action.  Batches of all products are submitted on a regular basis to independent laboratories to determine the mineral content and to confirm externally the SG and pH levels of all products manufactured by NutriCo SA.

 

NutriCo SA products, including all the adjuvants, the Amino Gluconate foliar nutrients and the carrier molecules, all conform to the FDA GRAS (Generally Regarded As Safe) standard and is approved for use in crop production for human consumption under this standard.  Due to the bio-degradable nature of these products they all comply to section 9002 of the FSRIA of 2002.  These products are all of natural origin and deemed completely harmless to human health and thus have a Zero NOSHA rating.

 

All the products produced by NutriCo SA is fully compliant to GLOBAL GAP standards and is produced and analysed under GLP protocols.  None of the products has any residue levels that deems it incompatible to Good Agricultural Practices.  None of these products contains any residual components deeming it necessary to be controlled by MRL limits.

 

The products Organo Ca, AG Ca, AG Cu, AG Zn, AG CalMag, CHELAG Cal, CHELAG CalMag, CHELAG CalZin, CHELAG PotenCal, CHELAG PotenZin, CHELAG Mag, CHELAG Cop, Biosynth Super, Biosynth Max, HidroBuff, Acidifix, Tocovitale, Penetrol & Penetrol Buff are all compliant to Organic rules.  All these products are approved for use in organic production by SGS and Organo Ca by BCS, and Ecocert.  All these products conform to the certification guidelines as outlined by IFOAM (International Federation for Organic Agricultural Movements) and is therefore compliant to all forms of Natural production practices.
