Group History

In Line Trading is registered as a consulting firm by the current Managing Director, Martin Botha.

NutriCo SA became the trading division of In Line Trading. Trading started with a mini-factory in Kempton Park and the research and registration of unique agricultural chemical products commenced.

NutriCo SA received unique and diverse product registrations leading to entry into the mainstream agrochemical and fertilizer market in South Africa.

The company moved the production plant to a bigger premises in Elandsfontein, Gauteng.

NutriCo SA concluded a trace element supply contract with a major player in the South African fertilizer market and started to supply exclusive branded products to this industry.

NutriCo SA outgrew the Elandsfontein premises and moved to Isando. In Line Trading increased its product portfolio with commodity products used as raw materials in the fertilizer industry.

NutriCo SA establishes a distribution warehouse in Paarl, Western Cape for the Western, Northern and Eastern Cape, regional customers of South Africa.

In Line Trading started exporting raw materials and finished products to clients in Sub-Sahara African countries.

In Line Trading's agricultural registration portfolio expanded to over 200 registered products in South Africa. International registrations and exports include Sub-Saharan Africa, South America, Europe and Asia.

The portfolio of the various companies started to make up the In Line Group with mutual beneficial activities: In Line Trading 112 (Pty) Ltd to manufacture and acquire products and raw materials and Nutrico SA (Pty) Ltd, nationally to handle marketing of agrochemical and fertilizer products.

Cedar Lake Properties, is established as the property company for the In Line Group.

Cedar Lake Properties buy a vacant land in Olifantsfontein where the new headquarters, warehouses and factories of the Group would be based when developed.

A new independent laboratory, Chem Nutri Analytical (Pty) Ltd., also located on the Cedar Lake property development in Olifantsfontein joined the In Line Group, and became an important contributor to product quality, R&D and analysis for various multi-national customers.

Cedar Lake Properties acquired its second property, an industrial stand in Paarl, Western Cape to develop as its regional offices, production and warehousing facilities for that region. The development was earmarked for completion in 2017.

The In line Group invested in new milling and blending technology with its strategic international partners. This would give In Line Trading true nano technological production capabilities.

The In Line Group becomes a member of CAIA and embraces the responsible care manufacturing processes with zero effluent strategies, recycling and reusable infrastructure in all its new facilities.

Cedar Lake Properties completes the development of the new industrial park in Paarl, Western Cape and Olifantsfontein, Gauteng. In Line Trading and NutriCo moved into it’s new, state of the art offices, warehouses and manufacturing plants to service its growing customer demand with technologically advanced services.

The developments provides sufficient infrastructure to service customers in more than 12 countries with more than 400 diverse and unique products.
